| CLUB INFORMATION | The Kiwanis Club of Sparta has been serving Sparta and Sussex County for over 64 years. The club is associated with Kiwanis International whose mission is “To Serve the Children of the World”. Sparta Kiwanis follows that mission in a quiet and unassuming fashion and provides a broad spectrum of services. You may see us at the Stop and Shop every month collecting food for the Ecumenical Council Food Pantry. Perhaps your child has received one of our scholarships. Did you know that the club has awarded over $327,000 since 1982 to deserving high school seniors? You could have seen us manning the red kettles for the Salvation Army for which we have collected $316,000 over the past 18 years. We sponsor Key Clubs and a Builders Club at 4 area schools. We plant flowers, build playgrounds, hold picnics for our senior citizens, sponsor students for leadership training, contribute to children’s causes, clean road sides, cook for more Sparta events than any other group...and more. There are countless benefits to be a Kiwanian—fellowship, leadership growth, and the opportunity to serve the residents of Sparta.
